Beach Art

33 students participated in a beach art workshop run by local artist Kate Blair.  Kate brought along her ‘sea stuff’ creations and inspired Priestlands students to get creative with the bags of beach litter they had collected over the previous month.  Fishermen’s rope and washed up plastics were common features in amongst the finished pieces, we even had a washed up toy bus glued onto the canvas!  Huge thanks to Kate and all involved.  We hope we are a little closer to promoting the #2minutebeachclean for all beach visitors.
